Fault Codes

This section provides information about the engine and vehicle

subsystem fault codes that you may receive from your vehicle.

PID is the parameter identifier. SPN is the suspect parameter

number. SID is the subsystem identifier. FMI is the failure

mode identifier. Each PID, SPN, SID, and FMI is identified by a

number. You may notice some numbers missing from the

following tables, as NOT all numbers have been defined.

PID Number Range Supported

1 - 511*

* - Not all PID numbers are assigned by SAE. If a

fault is read by Q
